We are here to support established nonprofits that rely on daily volunteers and small organizations that need a few dedicated volunteers. HOSC mobilizes individuals to contribute their time, talents, and voices to enhance the capabilities of nonprofits and schools, fostering positive change across 44 suburban communities. By partnering with nonprofits, schools, and government bodies, HOSC delivers essential services to vulnerable populations, including victims of violence, individuals with disabilities, veterans, older adults, youth, and those in need of food, shelter, mental health services, and other critical support.

Membership Requirements
Community Partners is an impact-driven network comprised of nonprofits, schools, community organizations, and public entities committed to positively impacting lives in suburban Chicago. To join organizations must:
- Be a 501(c)3 nonprofit status or be a not-for-profit/public school, hospital, or government organization.
- Have inclusive practices for recruiting, selecting, and supporting their human capital (staff & volunteers) and offer access to training and support to create diverse and inclusive environments.
Membership Registration
- Annual Membership Year: July 1 to June 30
- Annual Membership Fee: $300
- Scholarships Available: Apply for a full scholarship to pay the annual membership fee (see below for qualifications)
Qualify for a Scholarship
Here’s how you qualify for one of our Membership Scholarships:
- Sign a Partner Memorandum of Understanding
- Post and maintain at least three active opportunities
- Complete an annual partner survey
Scholarships are available thanks to a generous grant from AmeriCorps. All above criteria must be met to qualify.
